It's Not Done Yet

My room is freshly painted! FINALLY. It's been a while since I last posted, but that's only because I am so busy with everything! Erm, nothing. Anyway, no pictures yet. But tomorrow the floor people will be coming to put the wood flooring in my room and then we'll move the furniture back in our rooms (which are currently in the living room, LOL). OH YES- Today I was cleaning out my dresser and ugh so much stuff I don't wannttt! And that's for my stuff only (my sister's junk is 10 times mine and she still hasn't sorted out anything!)

OK SO tomorrow I'm heading to IKEA to get some new curtains, and at the end of this month, I'm going back to get a couch + coffee table + shelves.

PS- I got my two pairs of glasses I oredered off of Amazon and will show 'em to you tomorrow.
PPS- I saw Loving Annabelle (the movie) online, and it is officially my favorite movie. The chemistry between Annabelle and Simone is unbelievably amazing!!!!!

I Supposed You've Already Heard

RIP, Estelle Getty.
Sophia was my favorite on Golden Girls.

On another note, why i everyone hating on Tavi? She's as old (or young in this case) as me and that doesn't make it ~mysterious~ just because she has a well-known blog! I hope she comes back and continues to update her blog, because apparently, she's taking a break. Visit her blog: THE STYLE ROOKIE

Room Decorating!

Alright, so this week, my sister and I are re-decorating our rooms! She's going to make it vintage/retro-esque while I make mine light and natural. Why? Manily because I have a normal sized room which also falls in the small category. Anyway, today we went to 2 flooring stores to pick out colors for our wood flooring which will replace our carpets! I hate carpets. Moving on, I picked a dark brown which looks nice since I'm going to paint my walls an off-white-ish color. It will create contrast against the floor and walls. I'm going to paint my window wall a light limeish green. I haven't seen the color swatches yet, but I've already planned out everything. The color scheme will be Light Lime Green, Dark Brown, and Off-White. I think it will turn out fantastic! I get to decorate everything with a brain! I was only 8 then, of course I would've picked pink!  I wanted blue though. I don't know what changed my mind. Maybe it was my parents pushing me to choose pink b/c my brother had chosen blue and i was a girl? Lol, whatever. Girls can love blue, just like how I do. Back to the topic, as soon as I finish my room, which will probably be more than 2 weeks from now, I'm going to post pictures and give you all a video tour! For now, enjoy some eyecandy found on the LJ community Saucy Dwellings:

Lindsay Leggings: Sold Out!

Lindsay Lohan's leggings line, 6126, went up for sale a little over a week ago at L.A. boutique Intuition and on its Website, but it's already sold out. Ladies longing for Lindsay's shiny and knee-padded legwear must now sign up for a wait list. Yes, they're that popular. To figure out why, E! Online turned to the owner of the shop, Jaye Hersh. "Everybody loves to wear leggings, and everybody wants a piece of Hollywood. Lindsay is Hollywood," she said. But can the woman with all the answers explain what's up with the "Mr. President" leggings with the built-in leather knee pads? "I think that these were actually inspired by Lindsay’s love of Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld," Hersh told E! Online. “This is more about a theme and a trend for fall, which is all about quilting." She also suggested that of all the celebrity lines launched in the store, including Lauren Conrad's and Mandy Moore's, 6126 received the best response. Let's hope 6126 will be successful, unlike Lauren Conrad's Line.

To be honest, those leggings are really nice! I love the knee pads.

Nature

I realise many people don't care for Earth. No, I'm not saying I am a vegeterian (in which I was) but I'm implying on how careless some people could be. I remember the beginning of last year when during lunch time, I went around and picked up trash. I used to go around and ask people to give me their wrappers and suh so I culd throw them away. You know what the problem is? They just gave it to me. No thank you no nothing! If I were them, I'd decline the generous offer and throw my own trash away. It was very rude of them to actually tease me about picking up trash. But I felt good about it. I started to stop cleaning up and le them pick up their own remnants, but that didn't work. So next year (or if you'd rather say this year) I'm going to encourage people to throw trash away. We already have people that are aware of our situation today, but I think we don't have enough. If only people would just help.

Here I leave you with inspirational photos:

PS- Sarah Mclachlan is a wonderful singer/song writer who is aware. Thanks to her hit single "World on Fire", over $100,00 has been donated to people around the world in order to help them survive.
I think that she is extraordinary.
